GM GLASSICS is an innovative system for ventilated glass rainscreen façades and insulating glass façades, distinguished by its frameless, elegant glass appearance. With no visible mechanical restraints, it creates a continuously smooth and modern façade surface. In addition to its flexible range of applications, the system offers numerous design options, including screen printing, enamelling, and custom colour variations.
The special structural glazing technology, in which the glass elements are bonded exclusively, ensures a flawless frameless look. GM GLASSICS combines the advantages of ventilated façades with the efficiency of insulating glass façades and also enables a seamless transition between both façade types – a unique feature of this system. Certified throughout Europe, it delivers outstanding thermal insulation values with a Ug value of up to 0.5 W/m²K. The glass is UV-resistant and designed to withstand long-term weather exposure, ensuring a durable and visually appealing façade.
GM GLASSICS is installed on a thermally broken aluminium substructure. The monolithic glass units are prefabricated in the factory and hooked directly into the aluminium profiles on site, enabling fast, simple, and efficient installation. Bonding of the glass elements to the SG adapter profile is carried out under strict conditions and guarantees secure and stable fixing.
